Ingredients

  • 1 c. hot water
  • 1 tbsp. honey
  • 2 Packages yeast

Directions

  1. Mix together in small bowl and let stand for about 10 min. 4 tbsp. oil 9 c. whole wheat flour 1/3 c. honey 1 1/2 tbsp. salt
  2. Mix water, oil, flour, and honey in large bowl. Add in sufficient of the flour to make a batter. Add in yeast mix. Mix well. Add in sufficient flour to make stiff batter. Let rise in hot place 15 min. Then add in flour to make soft dough. Knead 5 min. Make into loaves. (Will be 2 large, or possibly 3 medium.)
  3. Put dough into greased bread pans. Set into cool oven. Turn oven on to 250 degrees for 15 min and then increase temperature to 350 degrees for about 30 to 45 min, depending on size of loaves. Bake till golden on bottom and top.
