Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 TBSP cocoa
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 6 TBSP vegetable oil
- 1 TBSP vinegar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup cold water
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350F
- Sift together and make 3 holes in the dry ingredients.
- In first hole, pour oil.
- In second hole, pour vinegar.
- In third hole, pour vanilla.
- Pour cold water over all.
- Mix well with a fork or whisk. Do not beat.
- Bake in greased 8 x 8 inch pan for about 35 minutes.
- Cool and top with vanilla frosting.
