Ingredients
- 1 can French type green beans
- 1 can whole kernel corn
- 1 can English peas
- 1 sm. jar pimentos
- 1 sm. can mushrooms
- 4 stalks diced celery
- 1 green pepper, diced
- 1 med. carrot, shredded
- 1 minced onion
- 1/2 c. salad oil
- 1/4 c. water
- 3/4 c. vinegar
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
Directions
- Drain water off green beans, corn, peas and mushrooms. Combine in a large bowl. Add in salad pimentos, celery, green pepper, carrot and onion; mix well. Add in salad oil, water, vinegar, sugar and garlic salt. Mix these ingredients and pour over vegetables. 8-10 hrs or possibly overnight, drain and serve. This salad is better the longer it sets.
