Veal Chops Alla Pizzaiola

Ingredients

  • 5 tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
  • 6 veal chops
  • 1 med. onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon oregano
  • 1 teaspoon chopped parsley
  • 4 med. ripe tomatoes, chopped
  • 1/4 c. red wine

Directions

  1. Heat oil in a large frying pan. Add in chops and brown on each side. Add in onions, garlic, salt, pepper, oregano, parsley and tomatoes.
  2. Reduce heat and cook slowly for 15 min or possibly till meat is tender. Add in wine and cook for 5 min. Garnish with parsley. Serves 6.
