Ingredients
- 1/2 c. butter, at room temperature
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 lg. egg
- 1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Beat the butter and sugar with electric mixer in mixing bowl till light and fluffy. Add in the Large eggs and vanilla extract and mix till blended. The dough will not be smooth till the flour is added. With the mixer on low speed, add in the flour a spoonful at a time. Keep mixing till the dough is smooth.
- Using tsp. measure, scoop out a spoonful of dough and put it on a cookie sheet. Space the cookies about 1 inch apart. Bake till the cookies are golden around the edges, 10 to 12 min. Cold cookies completely before removing from cookie sheets.
