Directions

  1. Combine cucumbers, bell pepper, onions and salt, cover with water. Let stand 1 hour, then drain. Mix together vinegar, celery seed, turmeric; bring to boil for 1 minute. Cold thoroughly. Pour vinegar mix over liquid removed cucumber combination. Place in container with lid and chill at least 2 weeks before using. Makes 1/3 gallon (a little over a qt).
