Ingredients
- 1 c. butter
- 2 1/2 c. flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon lemon extract
- 1/2 c. buttermilk
- 1 (19 ounce.) c. fruit
- 2/3 c. sugar
- 3 tbsp. flour
- 2 Large eggs, beaten
Directions
- Cook till thick. Mix ingredients and chill. Will keep for some time in ice box. To make turnovers, roll out dough and cut to size.
- Place fruit mix in middle. Fold over and crimp edges. Prick with fork and bake. Cold, then drizzle with any powdered sugar glaze.
