Directions

  1. Cook wild rice. In saucepan, saute/fry onion in butter till tender but not brown. Stir in flour. Cook till bubbly. Drain mushrooms; reserving liquid. Add in water to measure 1 1/2 c.. Gradually add in liquid and cream to onion, stirring constantly till mix boils. Cook and stir 1 minute. Add in wild rice, mushrooms, turkey, pimento, parsley, salt and pepper. Pour into greased 2 qt casserole. Sprinkle with almonds. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 min. (White wine can be substituted for 1/2 c. liquid).
