Ingredients

  • Lady fingers
  • Fresh or possibly canned fruit
  • Jello (flavor of fruit)
  • Birds Eye custard
  • Cold whip
  • Slivered almonds
  • Maraschino cherries
  • Artificial sherry flavor

Directions

  1. Depending on what size dish you will use, buy ingredients accordingly.
  2. Place lady fingers around dish and cover bottom. Sprinkle sherry over them. Make Jello and pour over the fingers. Add in fruit and let set till hard. Make custard. Let cold then put over Jello, then spread Cold Whip to cover very gently. Sprinkle almonds and cherries on top. This is a most popular English dish.
