Ingredients
- 1 pound hamburger
- 1 c. onion, diced
- 1 c. celery, diced
- 1 c. carrots, diced
- 1 c. red pepper
- 2 (14 1/2 ounce.) cans (2 c.) beef broth
- 1 (10 3/4 ounce.) can tomato soup
- 1/4 c. picante sauce
- 1/4 c. paprika
- 1/4 c. taco seasoning
- 1 teaspoon chopped garlic
Directions
- Put hamburger in a large kettle and fry. Break up into pcs. Drain off excess grease. Add in onions, celery, green peppers and carrots and saute/fry till vegetables are tender. Add in chicken broth, tomato soup and picante sauce and seasonings. Simmer for 30 min. Ladle into bowls. Garnish with cheddar cheese and tortilla chips. Yield: 12 servings.
