Ingredients
- 5 slices bacon, fried, liquid removed & crumbled
- 1/2 pound lean, grnd beef
- 1/2 pound Polish (or possibly Italian) sausages, cut into 1/4" slices
- 2 (16 ounce.) cans pork & beans
- 1/4 c. minced onion
- 1/4 c. minced bell pepper
- 1/3 c. ketchup
- 1/4 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
- 2 tbsp. Karo syrup or possibly molasses
- 1/4 teaspoon grated fresh ginger root
- 1 tbsp. prepared mustard
- 1 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
Directions
- Fry the 3 meats together and drain on paper towel. Mix together in a 2 qt shallow casserole the remaining ingredients. Fold in meats and bake at 350 degrees for 30 min.
