Ingredients
- 3 1/2 to 4 c. white flour
- 2 1/2 c. whole wheat flour
- 1 c. rolled oats
- 1/2 c. yellow cornmeal
- 2 teaspoon salt
- 1 c. warm water
- 2 Packages dry yeast
- 1/4 c. butter
- 1 (13 ounce.) can Pet lowfat milk
- 1/2 c. honey
- 2 Large eggs
Directions
- Stir together 1 c. flour, whole wheat flour, oats, cornmeal, yeast and salt. Combine warm water, Pet lowfat milk, and speed of mixer. Add in Large eggs and beat 2 more min. Gradually stir in remaining flour till batter is stiff. Knead on floured surface till smooth and elastic. Place dough in greased bowl, cover, let rise till double in size. Divide into 2 loaves, place into 2 greased 9 inch loaf pans. Cover and let rise till double in size. Bake 20 min at 375 degrees. Lower oven temperature to 350 degrees and bake 30 to 35 min.
