Ingredients
- 8 ounce. lasagna noodles
- 1/2 c. minced onion
- 1/2 c. minced green pepper
- 3 tbsp. butter
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 (4 ounce.) can mushrooms, liquid removed
- 1/3 c. lowfat milk
- 1/2 teaspoon dry basil
- 1 1/2 c. cottage cheese
- 1 c. minced, cooked chicken
- 1 1/2 c. shredded American cheese
- 1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 c. minced pimento (optional)
Directions
- Cook noodles as directed, drain well. Cook onion and green pepper in butter till tender. Stir in soup, mushrooms, lowfat milk, basil and pimento. Lay half of noodles in 9x13 inch pan. Top with half each of soup mix, cottage cheese, American cheese and Parmesan cheese. Repeat layers of the noodles, sauce, cottage cheese and chicken. Bake in 350 degree oven for 45 min. Top with remaining American and Parmesan cheese; bake 20 more min till cheese melts.
