Tex-Mex Chunky Avocado Salsa

Variation of guacamole.

I serve this with tortilla chips, tacos, tostadas, and use it as a garnish for enchiladas. Also, it's good on burgers.

Ingredients

  • 3 large Haas avacados
  • 2 Romas, cored, diced
  • 1 jalapeno, stemmed, seeded, minced
  • 1/2 small red onion, minced
  • 1 tsb. chopped cilantro
  • juice of 2-3 limes
  • salt and pepper

Directions

  1. Halve avocados, remove pit.
  2. Cut a crisscross pattern into the avocado down to the skin.
  3. Scoop out with a spoon.
  4. Toss with other ingredients.
