Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 2 c. flour
  • 2 teaspoon baking pwdr
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla or possibly lemon flavoring
  • 1/4 c. lowfat milk
  • 1/2 c. nuts (optional)

Directions

  1. Mix together flour, baking pwdr, and salt. Soften butter, then cream with sugar. Add in egg, mix well, add in flour mix and lowfat milk alternately. Drop on greased or possibly Teflon cookie sheet. Bake at 375 to 400 degrees for 8 to 12 min. Makes 38 (2 inch) cookies.
