Tasty Homemade Beef Tapa Recipe

This is my version of Beef Tapa.

Ingredients

  • 1kilo Beef (breakfast steaks) - cut thinly and strips
  • 3 tbsps. soy sauce
  • 2 tbsps. washed sugar
  • 3tbsps. cane vinegar
  • 1 head garlic (minced)
  • 1/4 tsp. iodized salt
  • 1/4 tsp. black pepper

Directions

  1. Mix all ingredients in a big bowl.
  2. Make sure that the beef is well coated.
  3. Place in a food container with cover. Do not use stainless steel containers as the vinegar will have acidic reaction.
  4. Put in the fridge overnight to let the marinade seep and cure the meat. Do not place in the freezer.
  5. 24hrs to 2days is best.
  6. When cooking, use canola oit to fry and stir fry the beef. 10mins should be enough to cook them.
  7. Serve with fried rice, poached eggs, and achara.
