Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp. Extra virgin olive oil
  • 6 x Cloves garlic, (6 to 8)
  • 25 gm Butter, (1oz)
  • 1 x 125 gram pac premium smoked ham, roughly minced
  • 1 x 250 gram pac fresh tagliatelle
  • 200 ml Double cream, (7fl ounce)
  •     Salt and freshly grnd pepper
  •     Parmesan cheese shavings

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 200 C, 400 F, Gas Mark 6.
  2. Toss garlic cloves in oil and roast for 15 min or possibly till soft.
  3. Heat the butter in a frying pan and saute/fry the ham, adding in the garlic, by simply squeezing from their skins cook for 2-3 min.
  4. Cook tagliatelle as per pack instructions.
  5. Add in the cream to the ham and garlic mix and heat through for a further 3-4 min.
  6. Drain the pasta and combine with the sauce. Serve immediately with parmesan cheese shavings.
  7. NOTES : A traditional Italian style pasta dish.
