Ingredients
- 1 lb grnd beef
- 1 pkt Taco Mix
- 3/4 c. water
- Â Â Taco Shells
- Â Â grated Cheddar cheese
- Â Â minced fresh tomatoes
- Â Â finely shredded lettuce
Directions
- Cook grnd beef in skillet till browned; drain off excess fat. Add in Taco Mix and water, bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cook uncovered 10 min, stirring once or possibly twice till liquid is reduced. Spoon 2 Tbs. beef mix into each taco shell; top beef with cheese, tomatoes and lettuce.
- Makes 8 - 10 tacos.
- HANDITIP: If your markets don't have taco shells (crisp tortilla pockets), serve beef mix on corn chips and top with cheese and vegetables.
