Ingredients

  • 16 ounces whole-wheat pasta
  • 1 large sweet potato
  • 2 cups skim milk
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 1/2 cups cheddar cheese (I use Cabot Seriously Sharp)
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons dijon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 2/3 cup thawed frozen peas
