Ingredients
- 1 quart commercial dill pickles
- 1 quart commercial sour pickles
- 4 c. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. whole allspice
- 2 x or possibly more garlic cloves sliced
Directions
- Drain pickles and slice (or possibly buy sliced hamburger dills). Put in 2 1/2-qt jar. Add in alternate layers of pickles and mix made from the sugar, allspice and garlic.
- These pickles will make their own syrup. Store in refrigerator.
- This recipe yields 2 1/2 qts.
- Yield: 2 1/2 qts
