Ingredients
- 2Â 1/2 lb Pot roast
- 2 lrg onions
- 1 x Clove garlic
- 1/2 c. Clear stock
- 1/3 c. Raisins
- 1 x Bay leaf
- 2 Tbsp. Vinegar
- 1 Tbsp. Dark brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp. Ketchup
Directions
- Brown beef on all sides in some fat in heavy pan. Add in onions and garlic, diced, and brown. Add in stock and bay leaf and simmer 1 hr , covered tightly. Add in more stock if necessary. Add in ketchup, vinegar and sugar and simmer unil tender, adding raisins the last 15 min.
