Ingredients

  • 1 1/3 c. granulated sugar
  • 1 c. butter, softened
  • 4 x Large eggs
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 pch salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2/3 c. fresh strawberries, minced

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease and flour a 9 x 5-inch loaf pan. Cream together sugar and butter in a large bowl. Add in Large eggs, flour and salt, mixing well. Add in strawberries and vanilla extract and continue mixing. Pour batter into loaf pan and bake for about 1 hour or possibly till a wooden pick comes out clean when inserted in the center of the cake.
