Strawberry Kiwi Jam Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 3/4 c. Crushed strawberries
  • 1 1/4 c. Kiwi fruit, peeled, minced
  • 3 1/4 c. Sugar
  • 1 pkt Certo LIGHT Pectin Crystals

Directions

  1. Measure prepared fruits into a large bowl. Measure sugar and set aside.
  2. Combine Certo Light Fruit Pectin Crystals (no substitute) with 1/4 c. of the measured sugar. Gradually add in to fruit, stirring well.
  3. Let stand 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Stir in remaining sugar and continue to stir for 3 min till most of the sugar is dissolved.
  4. Pour into clean jars or possibly plastic containers. Cover with tight lids and let stand at room temperature till set (may take up to 24 hrs).
  5. Store in freezer or possibly for 3 weeks in refrigerator.
  6. Makes 6 c..
