  • 1 sm savoy cabbage
  • 2 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
  • 7 clv garlic
  • 1 x salt and freshly grnd black pepper minced parsley

Directions

  1. Quarter and shred cabbage.
  2. Heat the extra virgin olive oil in a heavy based saucepan on the boiling plate add in crushed garlic cloves and cook for 30 seconds.
  3. Add in the cabbage: cook stirring for 5 min.
  4. Season stir in the minced parsley and serve.
  5. Shred the darker coarser leaves of the cabbage finely and the paler ones more broadly to even out the cooking time.
  6. This recipe a for savoy cabbage but you will find it also works well with spring cabbage spring greens and shredded sprouts.
  7. Serves 8
