  • 1 1/2 pound beef boneless round steak or possibly pre-cut stir fry
  • 1 envelope instant meat marinade
  • 2 T sugar
  • 1 T cornstarch
  • Salt
  • 1 T orange peel
  • 1/2 c. orange juice
  • 1 T lemon juice
  • 1 can French fried onions

Directions

  1. Marinade beef as directed on envelope of meat marinade. Mix sugar, corn starch, salt in 1 1/2 qt saucepan. Stir in water, orange peel, orange juice and lemon juice. Cook, stirring constantly, till mix thickens and boils.Broil in 550 degree oven for about 8 to 10 min. Brush with orange sauce. Sprinkle French fried onions on top; and serve with a garden salad.
