Ingredients
- 2/3 c. grnd dark roast coffee
- 4 x cinnamon sticks crushed, or possibly broken
- Â Â into small pcs
- 6 c. water
- 1/2 tsp grnd cardamom
- 2/3 c. honey
- Â Â Ice cubes as needed
- Â Â Half-and-half or possibly lowfat milk as needed
Directions
- Mix together the coffee and cinnamon sticks. Using the coffee-cinnamon mix and the water, brew coffee by your customary brewing method. Add in the cardamom and honey to the warm coffee and stir till the honey dissolves. Cover and chill.
- To serve, fill tall glasses with ice cubes. Pour about 2/3 c. chilled coffee into each glass. Pass the half-and-half or possibly lowfat milk.
- This recipe yields 8 servings.
