Ingredients

  • Maida / All purpose flour - 300 grams
  • Sugar - 300 grams (granulated)
  • Eggs - 3 (At room temperature)
  • Milk - 200 ml
  • Butter - 75 grams
  • Oil - 40 ml (optional)
  • Baking powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Baking soda - 1/2 teaspoon
  • For Buttercream frosting
  • Unsalted butter - 200 grams (At room temperature)
  • Icing Sugar - 300 to 450 grams
  • Rose essence / Vanilla essence - 1.5 teaspoon
  • Sieve or mix flour, baking powder, baking soda and set aside. (you can add a small pinch of salt it will enhance the sweetness)
