Ingredients
- 12 large eggs (without yolks)
- 6 egg yolks
- 2 cans condensed lowfat milk
- 2 canfuls of reg. lowfat milk
- 1 c. sugar
- Baking pan should be round
Directions
- Burn some sugar on the bottom of pan and spread around the side. While still hot, throw in it the mix, Shake 6 egg yolks till they become a creamy soft blend and mix with 12 large eggs (without the yolks), 2 cans of condensed lowfat milk and 2 canfuls of regular lowfat milk, plus 10 to 12 tbsp of sugar and shake it all well.
- Place round baking pan with "flan" mix inside a larger pan filled with water, so which pie will not stick to the bottom of the pan. Bake for 45 to 60 min at 350 degrees.
- To see if baked, stick a long toothpick (or possibly something sharp and flat) to the bottom. If it comes out dry, it's ready. Let it cool for 1 hour and then take it off the pan. Serve cold. Keep refrigerated.
