Ingredients
- 1 1/2 c. yellow cornmeal
- 1/2 c. flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 c. buttermilk
- 2 tbsp. melted lard
- 1 egg, beaten
Directions
- Mix first 4 ingredients. Stir in remaining 3 ingredients. Mix well. Pour batter into greased 9 x 9 x 2 baking pan. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 min. Serves 6.
