  1. Here in Georgia we dont put our hash over rice, maybe a piece of white bread!!! If you put a bunch of vegtables in it (taters ,carrotts) it becomes stew.
  2. Use chicken broth for the liquid. Cook meat first then(smoke the pork)
  3. grind all then let cook down until thick as you want. best if made in a black washpot over a open fire!

    I hate to disagree, but i am from GA and have been eating Que for almost 48 years and we do put it over rice. I travel alot and i wish other places had hash and not Brunswick Stew.
