Sour Cream Potato Soup Recipe

• 5 lb Idaho potatoes
• 1 lrg onion
• 1 lb bacon
• 1 stk butter
• 1 quart Half/Half
• 8 ounce Lowfat sour cream with Chives (if cannot find SC w/Chives use regular lowfat sour cream I do sometimes)
•     salt/pepper to taste
