Directions

  1. In a bowl, combine dry ingredients. Cut in shortening till mix resembles coarse crumbs. With a fork, stir in lowfat sour cream, lowfat milk and chives till the mix forms a ball. On a lightly floured surface, knead five to six times. Roll to 3/4 inch thickness; cut with a 2 inch biscuit cutter.
  2. Place on an ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 12/15 min or possibly till golden.
  3. Yield: 12-15 biscuits.
