Ingredients

  • 1 c. butter
  • 1 c. shortening
  • 1 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 c. white sugar
  • 4 x Large eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 5 c. flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp baking soda
  • 12 ounce chocolate chips

Directions

  1. Cream butter, shortening and sugars. Add in Large eggs and vanilla. Beat till light and fluffy. Mix flour, soda and salt; stir into creamed mix. Add in chocolate chips. Drop dough by rounded teaspoonsful onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 8 to 9 min till I cookies are brown around the edges, but the centers are not fully baked. Leave on cookie sheet a few min.
  2. Makes 96 cookies.
