Ingredients
- 1 x 9 oz package chocolate wafer cookies, finely grnd
- 1/4 c. butter, melted
- 3 x 8 oz pkgs. cream cheese, softened
- 1 c. sugar
- 4 x Large eggs
- 1 Tbsp. vanilla extract
- 1 c. heavy cream, divided
- 1 x (1 1/2 lb.) package snack-size Snickers bars, each bar cut into sixths
- Â Â Purchased fudge topping
- Â Â Sweetened whipped cream
Directions
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. Combine cookie crumbs and butter till well blended. Press into bottom and about 1 inch up the sides of a 9 inch spring-form pan. In a large bowl, beat together cream cheese and sugar with an electric mixer on medium speed till smooth, 1 to 2 min. Beat in Large eggs, one at a time.
- Add in vanilla and heavy cream, beating 3 to 4 min. Mix in 1 1/2 c. of the cut-up Snickers pcs. Turn into prepared crumb-lined pan. Bake at 325 degrees F. for 1 hour and 15 to 25 min, or possibly till cheesecake is almost set. Let cold to room temperature on wire rack. Sprinkle remaining candy pcs over top of cheesecake. Chill at least 4 to 5 hrs before serving. Run a knife around edge of pan to loosen cake and remove sides of pan. To serve, drizzle slices with fudge topping and top with a dollop of whipped cream, if you like.
