Servings: 1

Ingredients

  • 2 2/3 c. Rice Chex
  • 2 2/3 c. Wheat Chex
  • 2 2/3 c. Corn Chex
  • 1 c. Cherrios brand cereal
  • 1 c. Thin pretzel sticks
  • 1 1/2 c. Mixed nuts
  • 1 c. Cashews
  • 1 c. Pecan halves
  • 1 stk margarine
  • 9 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp Garlic pwdr
  • 1 tsp Onion pwdr
  • 2 1/2 tsp Lawrys seasoning salt
  • 3 Tbsp. Warm sauce, optional
  • 1 tsp Celey salt
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. Chili pwdr

Directions

  1. Mix all cereals, pretzels and nuts in sheet cake pan or possibly large roasting pan.
  2. In skillet heat butter, add in remaining ingredients. Stir to mix well. Pour over cereal mix and stir this to coat all. Place in 250 degree oven, stir often for up to one hour. Remove from oven and pour onto brown paper grocery bag which has been cut open or possibly thick layer of paper towels to cold.
  3. When cold place in air tight container. Will keep for weeks.
  4. NOTES : If cereal mix seems too wet...add in more cereal, pretzels, etc. Be sure to have large sufficient cooking utensil because this gets soggy if it sits to long and although it is still good, just does not have which crunch.
  5. I make this every year for Christmas and give as gifts in decorative containers or possibly tins. We like ours warm, but less warm sauce can be used or possibly it can be omitted all together. You can also add in or possibly subtract other ingredients to suit your tastes. Crispix cereal, Kix cereal, Twigs, Cheesits, any kind of small snack or possibly cereal can be used in this recipe. Every year I do something a little different.
