Ingredients

  • 6 pork rib or possibly loin chops, about 3/4 inch thick
  • 1 c. cranberry apple drink
  • 1/2 c. maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp. cider vinegar
  • 2 med. sized red cooking apples

Directions

  1. In a 12 inch skillet over high heat, heat pork chops, cranberry drink, syrup and vinegar to boiling. Reduce heat to medium and cover and cook 15 min, turning pork chops once. While pork chops are cooking, cut apples in wedges (3). With tongs, remove pork chops to platter. Add in apples to liquid remaining in skillet, over medium heat; heat to boiling. Cook uncovered till wedges are tender and liquid is thick and syrupy, about 10 min. To serve, return pork chops to skillet. Heat through, turning chops to coat with glaze. Makes 6 servings.
