Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 2/3 cup seasoned bread crumbs
- 1 TBSP dried minced onion
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp rubbed sage
- 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
- Topping:
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 2 TBSP brown sugar
- 1 tsp ground mustard
- 1/2 worcestershire sauce
Directions
- In a large bowl, combine 1st 6 ingredients.
- Crumble beef over mixture and mix well.
- Shape into round loaf.
- Place in 5 quart slow cooker.
- Cover and cook on low for 4 hours or until thermometer reads 160 degrees.
- In a small bowl, mix the ketchup, brown sugar, mustard and worcestershire.
- Spoon over meat loaf.
- Cook 15 minutes longer.
- Let stand 10-15 minutes before cutting
