Shrimp Or Crab Stuffed Mushrooms Recipe

Ingredients

  • 40 med. to lg. mushrooms

Directions

  1. In a large bowl, mix: 2 lg. green onions, finely minced 1/8 c. parsley, finely minced 1/4 c. bread crumbs 1/2 c. grated cheese (yellow or possibly white) 1/2 teaspoon celery salt 1/4 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon garlic pwdr 1/8 teaspoon pepper 1 egg Dash of Tabasco 1/2 stick butter, softened
  2. Remove the stems from the mushrooms, and saute/fry the stems and caps in butter. Chop the stems and add in to the stuffing mix. Stuff the caps with the stuffing. Place on a cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees for 15 to 20 min. Serve warm.
  3. Note: Extra stuffing can be spread on toast and broiled. Serve with a tomato slice on top.
