Ingredients

  • 1 pkt refrigerated crescent roll dough - (4 ounce)
  • 1 ct garlic and herb-seasoned cheese (4 ounce),
  •     such as Rondele or possibly Boursin
  • 2 ounce tiny cooked and peeled shrimp
  • 1 x red delicious apple cored ,and
  •     cut into thin wedges
  • 1 x hard ripe pear, cored,and
  •     cut into thin wedges

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425 degrees.
  2. Open the package of dough and unroll it on a baking sheet. Separate the 2 rectangles of dough (don't separate triangles) and lay them side by side just barely overlapping; gently press the edges together.
  3. Scoop the cheese in a pile in the center of the dough, then press shrimp over and into the cheese. Bring the 4 corners of dough together on top; and healthy pinch the edges together to seal the package.
  4. Bake till the dough is nicely browned, about 12 min. Transfer to a platter and surround with the apple and pear wedges.
  5. To eat, cut into the cheese package with a knife and scoop the mix onto pcs of fruit.
  6. This recipe yields 4 appetizer servings.
