Ingredients
- 2 c. butter
- 2 c. powdered sugar
- 2 tbsp. vanilla
- 1/2 teaspoon salt, optional
- 4 1/2 c. flour
- 1 c. semi sweet chocolate chips (mini chips work well)
Directions
- Cream butter and confectioners' sugar. Add in vanilla, salt and flour till well blended. Stir in chocolate chips. Shape into 1 inch balls. Flatten to 1 1/2 inch rounds with fork. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 min. Sprinkle with powdered sugar. NOTE: Bottom of cookie should be light brown. Do not let them get dark or possibly they will be hard.
