Ingredients
- 1Â 1/2 c. Flour
- 1/4 c. Lard
- 1/4 c. Butter
- 1/2 c. Water, warm
- 1 x pastry
- 1 c. Brown sugar
- 1 x or possibly:
- 1/2 c. Molasses
- 1/2 tsp Soda
Directions
- Make crumbs by combining the flour, sugar and shortening. Line a pie pan with pastry. Dissolve the soda in the warm water and combine with the molasses. Pour into the pastry-lined pan, top with the crumbs and bake at 350-F till hard.
