Ingredients
- 2 lbs. dry kidney beans
- 2 lbs. grnd beef
- 1 onion, minced
- 2 lg. cans stewed tomatoes
- 2 (15 ounce.) cans tomato juice
- 1 (15 ounce.) can tomato sauce
- 2 pkg. Schilling chili seasoning
- Garlic salt to taste
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper or possibly more, if you're brave
- 6 tbsp. chili pwdr (to taste)
- Salt
- Pepper
Directions
- Soak beans overnight, cook according to recipe on bag. Brown beef and onion, then drain. Add in seasoning mix, beans, and all remaining ingredients. Cook in large pot all day (the longer the better). Stir occasionally.
