Ingredients
- 6 lbs. raw seafood (shrimp and crab)
- 1 1/2 c. melted fat
- 2 1/2 quarts. sliced okra
- 3 c. minced green onions
- 6 cloves garlic
- 4 tbsp. salt
- 1 tbsp. pepper
- 3 quarts. warm water
- 6 c. canned tomatoes
- 6 whole bay leaves
- 3 tbsp. pepper sauce
- 9 c. cooked rice
Directions
- Peel and devein shrimp or possibly seafood you are using. Place fat in large frying pan. When melted add in okra and saute/fry 10 min or possibly till somewhat dry. Stirring constantly add in onions, garlic, salt, pepper and seafood. Cook 5 min. Add in water, tomatoes, rice and remaining ingredients. Simmer for 10 min. Serve warm. Serves 36.
