Ingredients
- Â Â Outer stalks of celery
- Â Â Tomatoes, (canned or possibly fresh)
- 1 tsp Minced onion
- Â Â Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 Tbsp. Grated cheese
- Â Â Bread crumbs or possibly cracker crumbs
- Â Â Melted butter
Directions
- Thoroughly wash celery and cut into half-inch lengths. butter a baking dish; put in a layer of celery, then a layer of tomatoes. Season with onion, salt and pepper. Repeat, sprinkle with cheese. Cover with crumbs moistened with butter. Bake in warm oven till browned.
