Sauteed Chicken In Cream Sauce

Ingredients

  • 2 whole chicken breasts, split, boned, skinned
  • 2 tbsp. butter
  • 1 1/2 c. mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 c. celery, sliced
  • 1 sm. onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon dry basil leaves (crushed)
  • 1/4 teaspoon chervil leaves (crushed)
  • 1/8 teaspoon dry thyme leaves (crushed)
  • 1/4 c. dry white wine
  • 1 (8 ounce.) pkg. cream cheese
  • 1/3 c. lowfat milk
  • 2 1/2 c. tri-colored cork screw noodles, cooked, liquid removed

Directions

  1. Cut chicken into strips. Heat butter in large skillet; add in chicken, vegetables and seasonings. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, 10 min or possibly till chicken is tender. Add in 2 Tbsp. wine; simmer 5 min. Combine cream cheese, lowfat milk and remaining wine in saucepan; stir over low heat till smooth. To serve, place noodles on serving platter. Top with chicken mix and cream cheese mix.
