Ingredients
- 1 pound pork sausage (warm or possibly mild)
- 1/2 c. green pepper, minced
- 4 tbsp. minced onions
- 1/2 teaspoon dry oregano, crushed
- 2 (8 ounce.) cans tomato sauce
- 1 c. elbow macaroni, cooked
- 1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 sm. can mushrooms, liquid removed (opt.)
Directions
- Brown sausage; add in green peppers and onion and oregano. Add in a dash of pepper. Stir in tomato sauce and 1/2 c. water. Simmer for 5 min. Add in mushrooms and macaroni. Put in a 2-qt casserole dish. Mix half of cheese into mix and top with remaining half. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for about 35 min.
