  • 2 pound mild Italian sausage, cut in 2-inch lengths
  • 2 c. minced onions
  • 1 1/2 c. red pepper strips
  • 1 1/2 c. green pepper strips
  • 1 c. marinara sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon basil
  • 1 pound rotilli or possibly other pasta, cooked and liquid removed

Directions

  1. Put sausage in microwave covered, microwave on high 7 to 9 min. Stir twice, till hard to touch, drain well. Stir in onions and peppers, cover, microwave on high 8 to 10 min till onions and peppers are tender. Stir cook marinara sauce into pasta and add in sausage mix.
