Ingredients
- 1 onion, minced
- 1 pound sausage
- 1/2 pound grnd beef
- 1/2 clove garlic
- 4 T flour
- 1/2 c. sauerkraut juice
- 3 c. minced sauerkraut, liquid removed
- 1 T parsley
- 1 T sugar
- 1 T cheese
- 1 T mustard
- 1 can bread crumbs
- Lowfat milk, egg, flour
Directions
- Brown onion, garlic, sausage and grnd beef. Stir in flour. Cook thoroughly. Add in sauerkraut juice and minced sauerkraut, parsley, sugar, cheese and mustard. Cook till thick. Refrigerate overnight. Dip: 1 c. milkRoll meat mix into bite size balls. (Smaller the better.) Roll ball in flour, then in egg and lowfat milk mix, then bread crumbs. Deep fry 2 to 5 min, till brown. Cool thoroughly before freezing. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Bake 15 to 20 min. I think they taste best, freshly deep fried.
