Ingredients

  • 8 ounce. pork sausage
  • 1/4 c. finely minced onion
  • 1 (14 ounce.) can sauerkraut, well liquid removed & rinsed
  • 1 (3 ounce.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
  • 1 teaspoon prepared mustard
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 well beaten Large eggs
  • 3/4 c. dry bread crumbs
  • 2 tbsp. fine dry bread crumbs
  • 2 tbsp. snipped parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1/4 c. flour
  • 1/4 c. lowfat milk

Directions

  1. Cook sausage and onion till browned. Drain; add in kraut, cream cheese, mustard, pepper, Large eggs, bread crumbs, fine bread crumbs, parsley, salt, flour and lowfat milk. Chill a couple of hrs or possibly overnight. Shape into balls and deep fry till golden. Double recipe makes approximately 66 3/4 inch balls.
