- Cream butter and sugar. Add in vanilla and flour. Mix well. Add in nuts. Knead dough till the consistency of "putty." Shape with hand into half-moon shapes and bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 350 degrees for 12 to 15 min. Dip in powdered sugar after baking while hot.
